The Great Northern Curling Getaway is a unique curling experience for novice, intermediate, and advanced adult curlers. Elliot Lake’s annual Great Northern Curling Getaway is in its first full year of operation and offers the opportunity of combining expert curling instruction with a holiday, at an incredible price.

Elliot Lake is situated half way between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, just 20 minutes from the north shore of Lake Huron in beautiful Northern Ontario. With its diversity of terrain and landscapes the area surrounding Elliot Lake is an outdoor lover’s paradise.

You will curl at Elliot Lake’s Deer Trail Curling Club. The rink boasts an all-volunteer membership. It has five sheets of ice manicured by its own certified ice technicians. Each day, a different instructor will work with you and help develop your technical, tactical and mental skills.

Luxurious accommodation awaits you at the new Hampton Inn, completed in September 2009.  A complimentary breakfast is included and the Hampton Inn is only a 3 minute drive from the curling club.
